For too long we have selfishly misused and abused God\u2019s mandate to \u201chave dominion over\u201d creation<\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> (Genesis 1:28). <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Now is the time to recognize that we have a responsibility to God to care for this intricate web of life, acknowledging that \u201cThe Earth is the Lord\u2019s and all that is in it\u201d <\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">(Psalm 24).<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">The Johannesburg Anglican Eco-Spiritual Initiative is a formal body of the Diocese of Johannesburg, seeking to meet the challenges being faced by this generation with regards to the environment.
